Weekly Menu: 17th – 23rd July 2017

MONDAY 17th July
Normal: Spaghetti Bolognaise – Lean beef mince, braised with diced onions, carrots and celery. Then slowly cooked with tomatoes over a low heat until softy and saucy. Served over spaghetti with a side of parmesan cheese and garlic bread.
Banting: Served over baby marrow and carrot strings with a side salad
SOUP: Country Veggie Soup OR Slow roasted Chicken with country veg
Vegetarian: Choose from the Vegan menu below.

TUESDAY 18th July
NormalGrilled Chicken breast – basted with a hickory smokey sauce. Served with steamed veggies and sauteed herb potato’s.
Banting: Grilled chicken breast marinated with soya and ginger. Served with steamed veggies and sauteed sweet potato’s
SOUP: Broccoli and potato soup with crispy bacon and cheddar cheese
Vegetarian: Choose from the Vegan menu below.

WEDNESDAY 19th July
Normal: Braised beef – with peppers and onions in a brown gravy. Served with garlic mash and gem squash puree with a touch of nutmeg.
Banting: Served with cauliflower mash and gem squash
SOUP: Tomato and Basil soup
Vegetarian: Choose from the Vegan menu below.

THURSDAY 20th July
Normal: Chicken a la King – served with rice, garden peas and a few carrots
Banting: Served with diced cauliflower, broccoli and carrots
SOUP: Butternut soup
Vegetarian: Choose from the Vegan menu below.

FRIDAY 21st July
Normal: Carbonara Pasta – bacon, ham, mushroom in a creamy cheese sauce over linguini pasta
Banting: served over bay marrow and carrot strings.
Vegetarian: Choose from the Vegan menu below.

SATURDAY 22nd July
Cottage Pie with pumpkin and a side salad
